We have been informed with the Haiti's news. You see, a 7.0 magnitude of earthquake stricked them on Tuesday, 12 January 2010. The effects was pretty destroying although it has been a month after the disaster. As of Feb. 12, an estimated three million people were affected by the quake; the Haitian Government reports that between 217,000 and 230,000 people had been identified as dead, an estimated 300,000 injured, and an estimated 1,000,000 homeless. The death toll is expected to rise. They also estimated that 250,000 residences and 30,000 commercial buildings had collapsed or were severely damaged. As the Haitians mourn for the deaths, so do the other people around the world.
Haiti is one of the most vibrant countries on the planet, rich in both culture and natural beauty. Yet Haiti remains the poorest country in the western hemisphere, with the highest infant mortality rate, and lowest life expectancy. The average daily income is about $2, and access to the basic necessities of life such as water and covered sanitation doesn't exist. (Oh, how sad it is!!) Now that's been compounded by the earthquake disaster which has traumatized the tiny nation.
We feel very sorry for them. Thus, actions must be taken, because as a human being, we shall help other persons whom in danger or problem. God make us in many races, as He want to see if we can know and empathize each other. Here, all I can do is to support every aid for them. Besides, if there's any inquiry for the Haiti's help nearby, I will surely give my helping hand. InsyaAllah...
Look at their sorrow eyes. Can you feel the sadness?
Everything seems to vanish. All things that has been made, destroyed in a single quake....
With your heart, look at the pictures above, do you want something like that happens at your place? Imagine that earthquake striked your hometown, then you got nothing. When you ask for help, nobody wants to help you. So, the same situation is happened in Haiti. They plead for some help, they are struggling in a hard-life after the quake, they live in nothing in their bare hands. But, we are still living happiness and shake legs in front of the TV??? Are we don't care for them??? They are also humans, so do us. They are created by God, so do us. They have hearts, feelings and everything as a homo sapiens, so do us!!!
In a nutshell, let's us help them to carry on the life thus making up a better world for everyone. Haïti Aidez!
P/S- When you make a donation for the Haitians, make sure that the agency which organising the donation programme is verified by the government. This is due to some fake agencies that cheat the community.. Do be carefull!!! ;)
